We are seeking an experienced VP, Merchant Platform Owner to lead the strategy, innovation, and execution of our critical platforms—whether a merchant eCommerce platform, 3rd party partner solution, or risk/fraud infrastructure. This role will shape the future of these platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration, all while aligning with broader business objectives. You’ll work cross-functionally with technology teams, architects, product leaders, and external partners to drive transformative solutions that empower businesses and enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive platform strategy & roadmap, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs, customer expectations, and market trends.
- Spearhead platform governance, scalability, and performance, maintaining security, compliance, and seamless integrations across the ecosystem.
- Partner with technology, engineering, and architecture teams to prioritize technical investments and platform innovations.
- Enable product teams, partners, and stakeholders by providing robust platform capabilities, APIs, and scalable tools to drive sustained growth.
- Leverage data insights, market research, and user feedback to continuously optimize platform functionality and enhance future applications.
- Ensure compliance, risk management, and operational excellence, collaborating closely with fraud prevention, finance, and regulatory teams to uphold integrity
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (ex. Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree, required. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in product or platform management, required; experience within fintech, payments, eCommerce, or risk/fraud solutions, preferred.
- Deep expertise in platform architecture, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and seamless integrations.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment while fostering innovation.
- Ability to balance business strategy with technical execution, driving impactful solutions and measurable success.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a data-driven mindset.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization
