Walbec Group is expanding it\'s renewable energy practice with a focus
on solar projects. From ground-mounted arrays on agricultural land to
rooftop solar installations on commercial buildings. We are looking for
an Electrical Engineer Manager to lead a team delivering the designs,
permitting, and interconnection that bring these projects to life. The
Position: This role involves overseeing, directing and executing
engineering designs (civil, electrical, mechanical) and permitting
efforts for a range of energy sector projects overseeing a team. Roles &
Responsibilities Foster a culture of excellence and innovation Managing
and mentoring engineering team, providing guidance, support and
fostering professional growth Driving technological advancements,
staying up to date with industry trends Ensuring adherence to best
practices, industry regulations and quality assurance processes Build
and maintain strong relationships with internal and external
stakeholders The Candidate: Required Skills 8 years of experience in
electrical engineering, power systems or renewable energy with a strong
interest in applying skills to solar and clean energy projects.
Professional Engineering licensure. Deep understanding of permitting
process, interconnection requirements, and renewable energy systems
design. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external
partners, and multiple complex projects simultaneously. Understanding of
business objectives, financial management and market dynamics. Position
is remote with travel up to 30% of the year visiting sites and our
Offices In Wisconsin. Preferred Skills Collaborative And Supportive
personal communication style. Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills. Build and mentor team of high performing technical people.
