CDL Class A Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver /equipment operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trailers, including flatbed, gooseneck , tag trailers . driver will also need to run equipment and work as part of the team on site . this is not just a driving position

Duties

• Operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight over designated routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts , loaders , skid steerswhen necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Work on site with the team to perform various task .
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining the integrity of the freight.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in route driving with a strong understanding of logistics.
• Familiarity with flatbed and tag and gooseneck operations is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment for loading and unloading cargo.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
