About the Role
We’re a growing insurance agency looking for a detail‑driven, people‑focused professional to support our Farm, Home, and Auto book of business. This role blends customer service, data entry, and policy support—ideal for someone who enjoys helping clients, staying organized, and working in a fast‑paced environment.
A key part of this position involves working with farm equipment schedules, valuations, and coverage updates, so familiarity with tractors, implements, attachments, and general farm operations is a major plus.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, professional customer service via phone, email, and in‑person interactions.
- Enter and maintain accurate policy data, endorsements, and documentation in agency management systems.
- Assist clients with billing questions, ID cards, certificates, and basic policy servicing.
- Review farm equipment lists and help ensure accurate descriptions, serial numbers, and coverage details.
- Support agents with quoting, renewals, and underwriting requirements.
- Maintain organized digital files and follow agency compliance standards.
- Communicate with carriers to process changes, request information, and resolve issues.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in insurance, customer service, or administrative/data entry roles.
- Knowledge of farm equipment (tractors, skid steers, implements, hay equipment, etc.) or experience in an agricultural environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy—especially when entering policy data.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
- Comfort working with computers, management systems, and digital workflows.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn insurance processes and terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with farm insurance products or agricultural operations.
- Experience with Applied Epic, HawkSoft, or similar systems a plus
- Ohio P&C license (or willingness to obtain one) required.
