Overview

Join our dynamic retail team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) specializing in retail sales! In this energetic role, you'll be the friendly face guiding customers through their shopping experience, ensuring they find exactly what they need while providing exceptional service. Your culinary and food handling skills will enhance the customer journey, whether assisting with food preparation or managing food service transactions. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products, including food items, beverages, and retail goods
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Manage customer orders in food service settings, ensuring timely preparation and delivery
• Upsell products by highlighting specials, new items, or complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give accurate change
• Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation while following proper food handling procedures
• Ensure compliance with health regulations by maintaining sanitation standards and proper food safety practices
• Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and monitoring product freshness
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions
• Solid understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Strong sales acumen with the ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations
• Exceptional customer service skills to create welcoming interactions and resolve concerns professionally
• Experience with cashiering, grocery store operations, or retail sales transactions is highly desirable
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
