The Buying Specialist plays a critical role in Paymore’s operations by evaluating, negotiating, and purchasing used electronics from customers. They ensure that Paymore acquires high-quality inventory at profitable prices while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers who bring in devices to sell or trade.
- Inspect and test electronics including phones, laptops, gaming consoles, and other tech devices.
- Accurately assess device condition and market value.
- Negotiate offers with customers in line with company pricing guidelines and profit margins.
- Maintain detailed records of purchased items and transactions.
- Stay updated on current market trends and resale values for electronics.
- Assist in organizing and storing newly purchased inventory.
- Collaborate with the listing and sales team to ensure smooth transition of inventory to the sales floor or online platforms.
- Deliver excellent customer service that aligns with Paymore’s reputation for honesty and fair deals.
