Job Title: Marshal (Training Provided)
- Protection of the courtroom;
- Check in parties to court hearings;
- Working with other agencies;
- Take custody of persons;
- Perform pat searches;
- Conduct safety and security walk throughs of court facilities;
- Work with court staff (judges, clerks, attorneys);
- Work 2-3 days per week.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate;
- Prior work in Law Enforcement;
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to the job requiring the issuance of a department firearm;
- Firearms proficient (must pass training and qualification);
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Skills:
- Customer service skills;
- Preferred bi-lingual (Spanish);
- Report writing;
- Basic knowledge of the criminal justice system (must take an aptitude test).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 24 per week
