Overview

We are seeking a Senior Copy Editor to join our growing market access company.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in journalism or English is preferred
• Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude are helpful
• 5 years of experience in medical/pharmaceutical editing required
• Knowledge of AMA style and basic FDA guidelines is mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation is mandatory
• Ability to recognize inconsistencies in wording as well as data is mandatory
• Experience with fact-checking data vs original references is required
• Science background/interest is helpful, but not mandatory
• Ability to work on all types of print and digital materials is helpful
• All editing is done electronically, so excellent computer skills are necessary
• Working environment requires the ability to complete jobs in an accurate yet timely manner
• Ability to manage time and interact in a professional manner with other team members is necessary.
