Duties
- Safely load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Manage stock levels through stocking, inventory checks, and replenishment activities in compliance with trade regulations and company policies
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other machinery following safety protocols
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper handling of international trade regulations when applicable
- Support order fulfillment activities for e-commerce platforms by ensuring timely picking & packing of customer orders
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety standards and company procedures for load & unload operations
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one upon hire
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs is advantageous
- Ability to operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, order pickers, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order calculations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for stock management and order accuracy
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations is a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects regularly, and work in a fast-paced environment effectively
