💲 Pay: $25/hour on W2
📅 Duration: 24-Month Contract
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shift)
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support asphalt and roofing product testing in a fast-paced laboratory environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with laboratory or manufacturing experience who enjoy hands-on testing, data analysis, and working with quality-focused teams.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Perform laboratory testing on asphalt materials (viscosity, penetration, flash testing, and more)
✅ Follow ASTM and AASHTO testing standards
✅ Collect, analyze, and accurately report test data
✅ Assist with equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and inventory
✅ Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment
✅ Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and test results
✅ Collaborate with engineering and technical teams on product development projects
Qualifications
✔ 1–3 years of laboratory and/or manufacturing experience
✔ Associate degree in Science, Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or related field OR High School Diploma with relevant lab/manufacturing experience
✔ Experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures
✔ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
✔ Mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain laboratory equipment
✔ Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and work in a warm laboratory environment
✔ Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
