🚨 We're Hiring: Lab Technician 🔬
📍 Location: Granville, OH 43023
🕒 Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Are you passionate about laboratory work, materials testing, and working in a hands-on research environment? We're looking for a Lab Technician to join our innovative research team supporting Composites and Insulation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work with glass materials, raw material testing, and cutting-edge laboratory equipment while contributing to product innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Prepare glass and raw material samples for laboratory analysis
✔ Perform physical property testing on various materials
✔ Support glass melting and refractory brick testing in high-temperature environments
✔ Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
✔ Perform cutting, grinding, and sample preparation activities
✔ Follow laboratory safety protocols, PPE requirements, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
✔ Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives
✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects
Qualifications
✅ High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
✅ Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
✅ Experience with sample preparation, raw material grinding, splitting, or particle size sieving is a plus
✅ Comfortable working with high-temperature materials, furnaces, saws, grinders, and laboratory equipment
✅ Strong communication skills and attention to detail
✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment
✅ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• Sample preparation and material testing
• Glass or ceramic manufacturing
• Raw material processing
• Particle size analysis and sieving
• Industrial or research laboratory environments
