What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Director position at PayCompass?
We’re hiring a Regional Sales Director (RSD) because we need you to help accomplish our mission—supporting independent Sales Agents to navigate merchant services with a partner who passionately pursues something rarely found in our industry: an #AgentFirst paradigm. We are looking for an RSD who is passionate about bringing the #AgentFirst mindset and supporting Agents as their personal growth strategist. Your knowledge in the industry and your experience partnering with Agents will be critical in positioning PayCompass as the go-to partner for independent sales Agents.
What will you do in this role?
As the RSD, you'll be responsible for:
- Serve as the voice of the agent to the internal team, while also ensuring the internal team's voice is represented to the agents. You will keep both sides aligned.
- Embody a servant-leader mindset, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to Agent success—#AgentFirst is ingrained in your DNA.
- Join sales calls with Agents and their merchants, assisting in removing roadblocks, closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- Provide strategies and recommendations that empower Agents in achieving financial goals and freedom.
- Navigate challenging conversations with Agents, addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Excel in trade show environments, proudly representing PayCompass with humility, respect, confidence, and an undeniable swagger. (up to 20% travel required)
- Proactively check in with Agents, offering insights and support to drive their business growth.

Who will you work with?
You will work closely with the Agents in your region as well as our internal teams including but not limited to: Recruiting, Marketing, Sales Support, and our Sales Operations Team. You’ll report to and collaborate closely with Tim Toombs, our CSO, as well as collaborating with the entire C-suite.
Where will you work?
You’ll work remote with occasional travel to PayCompass HQ in Tempe, Arizona. Our team has a fantastic culture, and we genuinely love being around each other (and our dogs)!
