Spring Family Case Management Intern (Bilingual Required)

Join EveryMind’s Family Empowerment Institute (FEI) Team as an Intern!

Are you passionate about empowering families and fostering community well-being? EveryMind is seeking bilingual (Spanish/English) interns to support our Family Empowerment Institute (FEI) team, a community-school partnership dedicated to helping families develop the skills and resources they need to achieve self-sufficiency. Through this internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience in community outreach, case management, and program administration, all while making a meaningful impact on families and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Administration
  • Keep accurate records of FEI programs and services to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, supporting smooth operations within FEI.
• Community Outreach and Engagement
  • Create flyers, social media posts, and other communications to engage the community and promote FEI services.
  • Help plan and implement classes and workshops that support student learning, family strength, and community health.
• Direct Family Support
  • Provide case management services to caregivers of students, offering guidance and resources to support family stability.
  • Collect data and conduct training evaluations using surveys to gauge program impact.
• Team Collaboration
  • Work with a diverse, multicultural population and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Gain experience supporting immigrant and low-income families, learning about unique needs and strategies for engagement.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
• Strong interest in community empowerment, family support, and social services
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a creative approach to community outreach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment
• Openness to feedback and a commitment to learning and growth
• Sensitivity and adaptability when working with families from diverse backgrounds, including immigrant and low-income communities
