What you’ll do
- Plan, develop, organize and lead specific activities and routines for all participants with various alternatives based on skill level.
- Lead with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program.
- Organize and maintain program records, (i.e., attendance record, rosters, etc.)
- Manage and maintain all equipment.
- Communicate effectively and timely with program participants.
- Promote other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referral to appropriate person.
- Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED required
- Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification or Group Exercise Certification
- Training and qualifications in the specialized instruction area required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and teach program skills
- Obtain and maintain all additional new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
