Position Overview
The FOH Staff ensures seamless guest experiences at the Food Hall Bar by executing day-to-day service, crafting cocktails and beverages to spec, serving tables and bar guests, maintaining an inviting and organized environment, and supporting overall operations. This role is central to our mission of delivering outstanding hospitality with enthusiasm, professionalism, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage all guests warmly, ensuring every interaction is welcoming and personalized.
- Take guests’ orders and provide product knowledge and recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver drinks to spec, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Support food runners with order coordination and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar, tables, guest areas, and service stations; anticipate and address spills or issues quickly.
- Check IDs for alcohol purchases and uphold all responsible service policies.
- Follow opening and closing FOH checklists (stocking, setup, cleaning, and breakdown).
- Handle cash responsibly: manage house bank, process transactions, count drawers, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Support recovery of dissatisfied guests through attentive listening and problem-solving.
- Uphold Two Roads hospitality fundamentals: warm and welcoming service, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, empathy, and enthusiasm.
- Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years old; 21 preferred.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. (kegs, cases, equipment).
