Overview
Oversees all aspects of centralized Logistics to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Provides leadership and technical advice on multiple payroll and logistics systems to resolve problems. Establishes and maintains a positive image with clients and service providers.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and schedules staff; assigns, directs, and checks the work of assigned personnel to ensure timely and accurate work and quality client service.
- Provides technical expertise on multiple internal and external logistics systems and processes. Collaborates with regional and corporate personnel to identify and resolve system problems.
- Assists the Logistics Manager with development of departmental goals and improvement strategies to archive Logistics objectives.
- Supervises training of personnel; recommends, implements, and monitors on-the-job training and education to further professional advancement of assigned personnel.
- Makes hiring recommendations and evaluates performance; recommends merit increases, promotion or termination, and disciplinary action to maximize team/logistics performance.
- Monitors date integrity and specialist’s workload to ensure timely package delivery.
- Acts in place of Logistics Manager in their absence to ensure continuity of logistics operations and to further develop their management skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- H.S. Diploma - Required
- 1 year of experience in Leadership role.
