Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inside Sales Representative role based in Tempe, AZ. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for engaging prospective and existing small to mid-sized business clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings to present Paychex HR, payroll, and benefits solutions. Daily activities include qualifying inbound and outbound leads, conducting needs assessments, and tailoring product demonstrations to client requirements. The role involves managing a sales pipeline, following up on opportunities, preparing proposals, and closing new business while meeting or exceeding individual sales targets. The Inside Sales Representative also partners with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and maintains accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Inside Sales skills, including phone-based selling and virtual presentations.
- Experience building strong client relationships with a focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Proven Lead Generation abilities, including prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing opportunities.
- Account Management experience in maintaining, growing, and renewing customer accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and active listening skills.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas or performance metrics.
- Comfort using CRM and sales enablement tools; proficiency with standard office software.
- Ability to work on-site in Tempe, AZ, in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
