The POS Desk Sales Specialist Associate
PayBright is a rapidly growing merchant services company serving businesses nationwide. We operate in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment where execution matters and details cannot slip.
We are hiring an Implementation and Integration Support Specialist on our POS Desk team. This position will run POS implementations from sale to go-live, making sure each merchant is set up with the right system and actually able to process.
This role is part project manager, part product expert - it will handle inbound questions, troubleshoot gaps, research new integration options, and ensure agents and merchants are using the right tools for their business. The right person will be able to evaluate business needs, recommend software and integrations, coordinate vendors and internal teams, and track every step of the rollout to keep deals moving and prevent issues.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery calls with merchants and agents to identify needs and recommend the right POS systems and integrations
- Take full ownership of implementation projects from kickoff to go-live, driving timelines and keeping every step on track
- Orchestrate seamless handoffs between PayBright, POS vendors, and internal teams to keep deals moving
- Oversee deployments end-to-end (menu builds, equipment, training, installation, and launch) and ensure nothing slips
- Serve as a go-to resource for agents, delivering fast, confident answers on POS solutions and integrations
- Maintain clean, accurate CRM data to ensure full visibility into pipeline and activity
- Build and continuously strengthen our internal database of POS integrations
- Enhance internal knowledge resources with real-world context and insights that improve team performance
- Partner closely with Applications and Technical teams to track progress and communicate implementation status
- Identify and evaluate new integration opportunities, including niche and vertical-specific solutions
- Review and assess integration requests from across the business with speed and precision
- Own reporting on POS and integration activity, ensuring data is accurate and actionable
- Stay ahead of PayBright’s product suite and the evolving integration landscape
- Act as a product expert, able to assist merchants with technical issues or challenges during onboarding
- Prepare clear, accurate documentation for agents and merchants to keep deals moving smoothly
- Deliver targeted product demos as needed to support deal momentum (less than 10% of time)
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Assisting sales reps with technical questions during deals
- Preparing proposals or solution documentation
- Helping with merchant onboarding and account setup
- Managing implementation timelines
- Ensuring deals move smoothly through the sales pipeline.
- Strong communication skills - clear, direct, and professional
- Strong organization and time management - able to juggle multiple implementations at once
- Strong problem-solving ability - able to connect business needs to technical solutions
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Technical aptitude - able to quickly learn systems, tools, and integrations
- Solid understanding of how software system integrations (POS, payments, booking, etc.)
- Attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Applications, and Technical Support
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1 years of experience in customer service, technical support, or software/integration environments
- Experience in merchant services, payments, or POS systems preferred
