Responsibilities
- Lead and manage low voltage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Coordinate field service activities, including installation, maintenance, and equipment repair of low voltage systems.
- Utilize hand tools and test equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to guide installation and repair processes.
- Oversee service technician activities, providing guidance on equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics modifications and system configurations.
- Assist in training team members on new technologies or procedures related to low voltage systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field service, service technician roles, or project management within low voltage or electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and troubleshooting equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, computer networking concepts, and schematic reading is essential.
- Experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and system diagnostics is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members effectively.
