Product Manager (Communication Services focused)

As Product Manager for Communication Platform Services, you’ll own and evolve the systems that power messaging across our marketplace. What You’ll Do

• Lead the vision and roadmap for Pax8’s communication platform services, ensuring clarity and alignment across Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Create intuitive experiences by applying design and product thinking to multi-channel communication journeys.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business, engineering, and data leaders to identify high-value opportunities and prioritize investments.
• Translate strategy into action by building roadmaps tied to company OKRs, with measurable outcomes and success metrics.
• Drive execution through backlog prioritization, story refinement, user acceptance testing, and Agile ceremonies.
• Leverage data and experimentation—including A/B testing and funnel analytics—to guide decisions and iterate quickly.
• Monitor performance and proactively identify opportunities for improved speed, reliability, scalability, and engagement.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members, fostering growth and collaboration.
  
  

What You Bring

• 3 years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, communication platforms, or customer engagement systems.
• Strong understanding of messaging and notification architecture (APIs, webhooks, event-driven systems, multi-channel delivery).
• Experience integrating platforms like SendGrid, OneSignal, or Firebase Messaging, plus CRM and billing systems.
• Proven ability to use data and experimentation to drive product improvements.
• Skilled in Agile/Scrum environments, with tools like Jira or Trello.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a knack for translating complex requirements into actionable plans.
• A systems thinker who thrives in fast-changing environments and can balance competing priorities.
• Empathy for users and partners, with a strong design sense and commitment to quality.

Compensation

• Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $100,000 to $135,000 or more depending on experience.
