Therapist (Part time)

Clinicians/Therapists at Pax Healing provide outpatient services to clients dealing with Mental Health and Addiction issues. Clinician/Therapists must be skilled and experienced at treating mental health and addiction symptoms and their comorbidity, with particular skill emphasis on trauma-informed care, and be able to work effectively, efficiently and flexibly in a fast-paced, demanding and team-driven work environment. Clinicians/Therapists must be adept at organization and prioritization, assessment and treatment planning, crisis management, and clinical documentation. Working in partnership with the program and clinical direction, utilization review, medical staff, case management, aftercare team, and the family support of the clients, the clinicians/therapists are responsible for driving the treatment and therapeutic process from admission to transition, performing clinical assessments, developing treatment, relapse prevention and aftercare plans, and driving clients growth and change all so as to ensure maximal success and stable ongoing recovery.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds.
• Experience in trauma-informed care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to ethical and professional practice.
