The Pawtucket School Department is seeking a Grade 2/MLL Teacher. Under the direction of the school administrator, the classroom teacher will implement the educational curriculum.

- Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals
- Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and communicates these objectives to students and parents
- Prepares for classes assigned and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor
- Monitors and evaluates student outcomes.
- Develops, selects and modifies instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students
- Participates in meetings, workshops and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
- Supervises students in a variety of school related settings.

Licensure/ Certificate Requirements:
- Valid RI Teaching License in Elementary K-6 and All Grades MLL certification required
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Desirable Qualifications:
- Minimum three years teaching experience
Compensation/Hours/Benefits:
- Full PSD benefits package; 184 day contract
- Salary range is dependent on step level and degree attainment level
