Dog Walker /Part time

Pawsitively Paws is thrilled to announce our expansion to the East Bay (Oakland)! We currently have a thriving business is Portland, Oregon and are excited to make new friends in California. We will be brand new in California and may take some time to build up cliental!

Do you love animals and spending time outside in nature? Pawsitively Paws is excited to announce that we are looking for a part-time employee to come join our team! Pawsitively Paws is an established and well-loved pet sitting and dog walking company, and we are seeking exceptional dog walkers to add to our amazing staff. We are an on-leash only company that offers private walks, group walks, cat/small animal visits, and overnight sittings.

Days: Monday-Sunday! Hours: Range from 9am-8pm. We can work with a flexible schedule so this is a perfect opportunity for college students and the like!

Please note: This is a very part-time job to start (2-10 walks per week). More walks/visits will become available as business increases.

Walks usually consist of 1-2 pups at a time, however that can range depending on your skills, experience, and our clients.

Pay rate starts at $17/ hour, with room for growth, for all services provided, except overnight sittings. Overnight sittings, which are provided within the client's homes, are from the hours of 7:00pm to 8:00am the next morning and will be paid out at $60/night. As the warmer months approach, these will become more available! In addition to that, we reimburse mileage and disburse tips when applicable.
