Experienced Veterinary Assistant
$19–$21 per hour | Locally Owned Small Animal, AAHA Accredited Practice

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, surgeries, and procedures, including restrained handling and monitoring of patient condition.
- Perform routine pet care tasks such as feeding, grooming, walking, and administering prescribed medications under supervision.
- Handle and transport animals safely, maintain clean kennels, exam rooms, and treatment areas, and manage basic sanitation and aseptic techniques.
- Collect, label, and assist with specimen collection and basic laboratory duties as directed.
- Communicate with clients about pet care, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions while ensuring compassionate, professional service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
