Duties
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, and monitoring health status.
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress.
- Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization.
- Support other team members with basic animal handling, restraint, and observational tasks.
- Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to ensure pets look and feel their best.
- Engage in pet sitting duties by providing companionship and comfort to animals during their stay.
- Maintain detailed records of animal health, behavior, feeding schedules, and treatments.
- Ensure the kennel environment remains clean, organized, and sanitized to uphold health standards.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and any concerns observed during care.
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary to support daily operations safely.
Experience
