Position: Kennel Technician / Building Coordinator
Pay: $14–$16 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Part-time and full-time positions available
Shifts Available:
- Opening Shift: 5:30 AM – 1:15 PM
- Closing Shift: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM (priority need)

About the Role
We’re looking for an organized, dependable, dog-loving Kennel Technician / Building Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that supports the daily operations of our facility while ensuring every dog in our care is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with dogs of all breeds and sizes, communicates well with both teammates and clients, and thrives in a fast-paced, caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Feed dogs according to individualized dietary schedules and special needs
- Administer oral or topical medications as instructed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout kennels, play areas, and common spaces
- Support and assist kennel technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
- Monitor dogs for changes in behavior, health, or stress levels and report concerns promptly
- Assist with bathing and light grooming tasks as needed
- Greet clients and check pets in and out for daycare or boarding
- Answer phones, confirm reservations, and schedule grooming and boarding appointments
- Communicate clearly and professionally with pet parents regarding their dog’s care and updates
- Open and close the facility safely and efficiently following established procedures
Qualifications
- Genuine love for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Confident handling multiple dogs safely
- Previous experience in animal care, veterinary, or kennel settings preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is a MUST
