Duties

- Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures
- Utilize animal restraint techniques effectively to keep pets calm and secure throughout grooming sessions
- Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat styling to promote overall pet health and hygiene
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, aftercare instructions, and any health concerns observed during grooming
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and workspaces after each appointment
- Assist with pet handling tasks such as dog training or basic veterinary procedures when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of pet coat styling techniques
- Knowledge of animal handling, restraint, and care practices across various species including dogs, cats, and equines
- Background in veterinary experience or veterinary technician/assistant roles is highly desirable
