What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Walker position at Paws to Consider?
Do you love meeting new dogs? Tired of working with other people? Do you want to wear your sweats everyday? If so, apply to walk dogs with Paws to Consider! We offer an independent atmosphere and will build you a walking schedule every week, you just have to walk the dogs!
A valid driver's license and a vehicle is required for this position (although you do not need to transport dogs in it - just drive to dog's homes).
Walking routes are located in Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, Dorchester, Hyde Park, Roslindale, West Roxbury, Dedham, Needham, Newton, Chestnut Hill, Brookline, Brighton and Allston. Walking routes are consolidated, so driving is kept to a minimum.
10am-4pm Weekday hours, you will be walking dogs, not much else to it! If you are interested in extra work, there may be cat care available in the mornings and additional walks in the evenings and on weekends as well as opportunities to do some pet sitting in client's homes.
Must enjoy working with animals and be willing to care for them while on walks.
Overnight Pet Sitting optional - pays $90 per night!
Time and a half on weekends and double time on holidays!
