Duties
- Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime to ensure safe interactions and prevent conflicts
- Assist with dog handling, including animal restraint and behavior management to promote calmness and safety
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility through regular sanitization, grooming, and kennel cleaning procedures
- Engage dogs in outdoor activities and exercise routines to promote physical health and mental stimulation
- Handle pet sitting requests with professionalism, ensuring all animals are comfortable and well-cared for
- Uphold health and safety standards by following proper animal restraint techniques and sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience with kennel work, pet sitting or dog training is highly preferred
- Knowledge of animal behavior, handling techniques
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely (team lifting required) and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Experience with animal care facilities sanitization
- Passion for animals with a positive attitude and energetic approach to daily tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
