What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Paws and Play Pet Resort?
Our company is in search of a Receptionist for our pet resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering incoming calls, welcoming guests and keeping our lobby and front areas clean. A good Receptionist will be friendly, love dogs and cats, have strong communication skills and be able to handle administrative duties, including message taking and data entry.
Responsibilities:
- Answer calls and greet visitors.
- Be polite and respectful.
- Deal with phone calls and other communications.
- Assist our pet owners with questions, and basic information.
- Use discretion when handling sensitive information.
- MUST LOVE PETS
Qualifications
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service background with excellent phone etiquette
- Previous administrative experience with a focus on organization and attention to detail
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Familiarity with calendar management and office tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
