What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Attendant position at Paws Amore', Corp?
We're hiring! You must LOVE dogs. Must tolerate fur, and must not be afraid of poop.
We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, responsible dog lover to join our team!
Our daycare attendants are a BIG part of making sure our dogs have a safe, fun, structured day. This is a hands-on job where you’ll be moving, cleaning, supervising, playing, learning dog behavior, and—yes—getting plenty of tail wags along the way.
What you will be doing as a Dog Daycare Attendant
- Supervising a group of dogs and keeping them safe
- Playing with and engaging dogs through out the day
- Helping prevent unwanted behaviors before they become a problem
- Feeding, watering, and caring for dogs
- Cleaning kennels, play area, gates, toys, play equipment, floors, walls, and bowls.
- Giving medication once trained and authorized to
- Greeting and interacting with our clients (parents) and their dogs
- Following procedures and Safety Guidelines
- Working as part of a team - and jumping in when you see something needs to be done
What we are looking for
- Someone who shows up on time
- Can stay busy without someone telling them to all the time
- Notices what needs to be done and does it
- Is comfortable getting dirty, wet, hairy and occasionally slimy :)
- Can handle a fast-paced environment
- Can take direction and follow through
- Works well with others but also work alone
Experience working with dogs is a plus—but a great attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn matter just as much.
Available Shifts -
Monday–Thursday
7:00 AM–12:30 PM
12:15 PM–5:30 PM
Friday - Sunday
7:00 AM–12:00 PM
12:00 PM–5:00 PM
Looking for someone who can reliably commit to these shifts. Must work weekends and holidays.
