What You'll Do
- Evaluate and assess the value of items brought in for pawn or sale — including jewelry, gold, silver, watches, electronics, and firearms
- Negotiate prices and terms with customers while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction
- Process transactions through our POS system and handle cash operations with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain thorough records of all transactions in compliance with state and local regulations
- Keep the sales floor and backroom organized, clean, and professionally presented
- Display merchandise attractively and assist customers with product questions
- Assist with receiving, pricing, tagging, and managing inventory
- Follow all firearm compliance procedures including background check processing
- Be a contributing, engaged, dependable member of this team every single shift
What You Bring
- A strong work ethic and personal accountability — non-negotiable
- Previous experience in retail, sales, pawn, or a customer-facing environment preferred
- Comfort handling cash, negotiating transactions, and multitasking under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills — bilingual in English and Spanish is a significant plus
- Ability to pass a full background check — required for all positions including firearm handling
- Availability Monday through Friday and Saturdays — full schedule listed above
