We are a non-profit Thrift Store for the Humane Society of Sedona looking for an energetic, hands-on leader who enjoys building great teams, creating an exceptional shopping experience, and inspiring customers, donors, and volunteers alike. If you’re organized, customer-focused, and love a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of our busy thrift store.
- Create a clean, welcoming, and fun shopping environment.
- Recruit, train, coach, and inspire employees and volunteers.
- Oversee donations, pricing, merchandising, and inventory.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to shoppers and donors.
- Monitor sales, manage budgets, and help grow store revenue.
- Partner with the Humane Society team on promotions, events, and social media.
What We’re Looking For
- Three or more years of retail management experience.
- Experience leading employees and volunteers.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and point-of-sale systems.
- Passion for customer service and working with people.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting animal welfare.
Bonus Points For
- Experience in thrift, resale, or nonprofit retail.
- Shift lead experience.
- Volunteer management experience.
- A love of animals and community involvement.
Physical Requirements
This is an active role requiring standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
