The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients, assisting veterinarians in various procedures, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for both pets and staff. This position requires and we will teach you to have a strong understanding of veterinary practices You need to bring excellent communication skills, and a passion for animal welfare to the table.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Help maintain aseptic technique during surgical procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals in our care.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Ensure cleanliness of the clinic, including kennels and treatment areas.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and grooming practices.
