Title: Intervention Paraprofessional
Location: Early Elementary (Grades Y5’s-2)
Reports to: Early Elementary Principal
Job Type: Full-time/Hourly/Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and;
- Associate Degree or;
- Completed ETS Parapro Assessment with a passing score of 460 or higher or;
- Completed WorkKeys Assessment with a passing score or;
- Completed Michigan Tests for Teacher Certification (MTTC) with a passing grade in relevant subject area(s)
Preferred Skills/Certifications:
- CPI Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
Essential Job Duties:
- Working with individual/small groups of students, supporting them with reading and math instruction
- Supporting teachers with small group instruction in the classroom
- Additional duties as assigned
Salary/Benefits: Starting at $16.46/hour; commensurate with experience per PPESPA Agreement under the instructional paraprofessional classification
Days/Hours: School Days/8:20 a.m. – 4:05 p.m. (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Start Date: ASAP
