Duties
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service with a lively, professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments efficiently while managing the clinic’s calendar to optimize patient flow
- Handle medical collections accurately, including processing payments and insurance claims
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and directing inquiries to appropriate team members
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, medical histories, and billing information
- Assist with kennel management tasks such as animal husbandry, pet care, and ensuring animals are comfortable and safe
- Support veterinary staff with basic animal handling, restraint, and knowledge of veterinary terminology when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles within animal clinics is preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and restraint techniques
- Experience with medical collections, laboratory procedures
- Familiarity with animal handling, including dog training, pet grooming, and general pet care practices
