Role Description The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to pick up and deliver freight across assigned routes in and around Deer Park, NY. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading freight (which may involve manual handling and basic equipment use), securing loads, and following all traffic and safety regulations. The Delivery Driver will interact with customers at delivery and pickup locations, obtain signatures, verify documentation, and maintain accurate delivery records. This role also involves communicating with dispatch, reporting delays or issues, and maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Deer Park, NY.

Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills, including professional communication and a helpful, solution-oriented approach when interacting with clients and team members.
- Experience or familiarity with Forklift Operation or other material-handling equipment, with a commitment to safe loading and unloading practices.
- Ability to support Training of peers or new team members by sharing best practices for safety, routing, and customer interactions.
- Basic understanding of Sales and service-minded behavior, such as representing the company positively during deliveries and identifying customer needs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience or CDL (if required for vehicle class) preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry freight safely; comfortable working in a physically active, fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow route plans, delivery schedules, and safety procedures with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
