Pavlika Inc. is a family-owned residential construction company serving Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio. We are looking for a dependable, experienced Construction Employee to join our team full-time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of residential construction and remodeling tasks
- Complete framing, trim carpentry, drywall, flooring, siding, doors, windows, and general finish work
- Review jobsite conditions and determine the proper steps needed to complete assigned work
- Read and understand basic construction plans, measurements, and project specifications
- Work independently with limited supervision when needed
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, homeowners, and other employees
- Identify jobsite issues and communicate material or scheduling needs
- Maintain high standards for workmanship, cleanliness, and jobsite safety
- Properly operate and maintain construction tools and equipment
- Assist with material takeoffs, deliveries, loading, and jobsite organization
- Complete punch-list items and final project details
- Help keep projects moving efficiently from one phase of construction to the next
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 7 years of residential construction experience preferred
- Well-rounded experience in remodeling, new construction, or both
- Strong carpentry and general construction knowledge
- Experience with framing, trim, drywall, flooring, siding, windows, and doors
- Ability to troubleshoot construction-related issues in the field
- Comfortable working independently and making practical jobsite decisions
- Experience reading plans and understanding proper construction sequencing
- Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and installation practices
- Previous experience leading small crews or overseeing portions of a project is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable work history
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Pay: $22.50 - $35.00 per hour
