Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Asphalt Laborer to join our paving crew. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and a willingness to learn and perform a variety of manual and equipment-related tasks on asphalt paving projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of asphalt paving sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Support paving operations by spreading, leveling, and compacting asphalt material to meet project specifications.
- Perform manual labor tasks including shoveling, debris removal, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist in maintaining equipment by performing routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.
Skills
- Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and construction site procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in paving and asphalt construction.
- Prior paving experience is preferred.
