THE OPPORTUNITY
As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in Pavilion's preconstruction efforts, supporting procurement, bidding, proposals, and project planning. You'll work closely with project owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to help establish the foundation for successful projects.
As one of Pavilion's early points of contact with clients and partners, you'll also help create the strong first impressions and trusted relationships that carry throughout the life of a project.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, bids, and proposals for prospective projects
Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project plans, specifications, and other construction documents
Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
Coordinate procurement and bidding activities throughout the preconstruction process
Communicate with project owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
Identify scope gaps, potential risks, and opportunities during the estimating process
Assist with value engineering and constructability reviews
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners
Support project teams through the transition from preconstruction to construction
Help deliver accurate, competitive, and thoughtful solutions that reflect Pavilion's commitment to our clients
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, or a related construction role
Strong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and quantity takeoffs
Ability to analyze project information and develop accurate, detailed estimates
Strong organization and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
Confidence communicating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
A collaborative, adaptable, and positive approach
