Job Title: Asphalt Patching Foreman/Supervisor

Location: Portland-metro Area

What are we looking for specifically?  Someone with:

• Asphalt Experience:  We are looking for someone to lead an asphalt patch crew. We do smaller asphalt repairs that do not require the use of an asphalt milling or paving machine. The right person has a deep understanding of the critical success factors for paving work, including evaluating subsurface conditions and surface drainage factors.   
• Hands on:  While this person will be managing others, he/she enjoys being part of the crew and isn’t afraid of hard work
• Leadership Capabilities:  We are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate their team, fostering a positive work environment. For the right person, this comes naturally and he/she would be dissatisfied if their job didn’t include growing individuals on their team  
• Attention to Detail: This person knows that even minor errors in paving work can have significant consequences. The right person “sweats the small stuff”
• Adaptability: Construction projects are dynamic, with changing demands and unforeseen circumstances. We’re looking for someone who can overcome the inevitable challenges that arise in construction
