What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician / Assistant Project Manager position at Pavement Engineering Inc?
Job Description:
• Entry Level (No Prior Experience Required)
• Full Time
• Starting Pay ($25-$30/hr Overtime)
• 8-12 hours per day (Monday through Friday, Some Weekends/ Holidays)
• Required Overnight Traveling throughout the State of California on a regular basis,
(Especially between the months of May and November)
(Shared Hotel room with co-worker of same gender)
• Travel time is paid
• Pavement Evaluations using ASTM D6433 Standards
• Data Entry using Word and Excel
• Compiling report PDF’s using Adobe Acrobat
• Coordinate Task Priority & Completion
• Work Closely with the Project Manager with Good Opportunity to Move Up
• Compiling report PDF’s using Adobe Acrobat
Candidate Requirements:
• Clean Driving Record (Verified through DMV Records)
• Proficient with Computers and basic software (ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat)
• Ability to read maps
• Does Not get Car Sick
• Ability to get in and out of a vehicle and walk 100 feet, every few minutes for 8-12hrs/day
• Ability to enter data into a tablet
• Ability to remain calm and levelheaded in potentially high stress environments
• Strong Desire to be Accurate and Precise
• Strong Attention to Detail

• Ability to work on their own
