𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆

Our client is a long-established civic architecture firm in the Inland Empire with a robust multi-year backlog of public safety and civic work. Their portfolio spans police stations, fire stations, libraries, city halls, community centers, and emergency operations centers for counties and cities they have served for decades. Construction values range from small tenant improvements to nine-figure flagship civic campuses.

They are hiring a Project Architect to lead projects from design development through construction administration, starting now. This is not an Assistant role. Their Principal and Senior Architect need a true peer, not another layer of production support.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗢𝘄𝗻

• One to three active civic or public safety projects at any time, from design development through construction administration

• Hands-on Revit production, every day, in BIM 360: sheets, details, coordination, specifications

• Client-facing meetings with county and municipal clients, and construction coordination with contractors

• RFI, submittal, and ASI turnaround measured in hours, not days. Responsiveness is how the firm wins and keeps clients.

• Punch lists, field reports, plan check, closeout. You see your projects through the ribbon cutting.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿

• 5 to 7 or more years of architectural experience with real ownership of civic, public safety, commercial, or institutional projects

• Current, fluent Revit production. You can open a model today and build a sheet, not just redline one.

• Real construction phase experience: RFIs, submittals, ASIs, field reports, punch lists

• Evidence of seeing two- to five-year project lifecycles through in stable tenures. Multiple tenures under two years are not a fit for this work.

• California Registered Architect preferred. Late-stage ARE candidates and experienced unlicensed senior staff are also considered.

• Commercial project backgrounds translate well. Residential does not.

• Working knowledge of applicable building codes for independent code analysis and compliance

• Small-firm mentality: flexible, resourceful, willing to own the work that keeps projects moving.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱

• Work that matters. A better fire station floor plan saves 30 seconds on a dispatch. That is a life. A community library opening has kids running in for books. You will be at those openings.

• A small team that values responsiveness, practical design, and architects who understand construction. Their clients come back because of it.

• A real path forward. Prior hires at the firm joined as Job Captains and have grown into Project Architect ownership. The same path is available to you.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀

• Base salary $85,000 to $125,000, experience-based

• Annual performance bonus tied to project responsibility

• Blue Shield California PPO Gold medical, plus dental and vision. Employer covers 50% of your premium.

• Employer-paid life insurance

• 401(k) with 5% employer match and profit sharing

• Three weeks paid vacation to start, plus flex holidays, paid holidays, and separate sick time

• On-site at Riverside, CA. Hybrid arrangements available after year one.
