Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a publicly traded specialty electronics materials company bringing a first-to-market copper-based chemical platform online. Patent-backed with 20 granted patents, the product family is headed into 5G network infrastructure, datacenter buildouts, and advanced semiconductor packaging. The plant is live and scaling, which means your SPC discipline sets the baseline for what good looks like on this product.

You'll join a lean process engineering team and own SPC and yield optimization across critical production processes. This is not a sustaining role. The process knowledge base is still being built, which means your corrective actions, NCMR closeouts, and SPC charts become the institutional standard.

- Define and defend SPC charts for critical processes. Identify out-of-control events, drive root cause analysis, and close corrective actions end-to-end.
- Own NCMR closeouts and customer-complaint Corrective Action Requests for batch manufacturing issues. Repeat-occurrence prevention is a core deliverable.
- Daily production monitoring across quality, cycle time, EHS compliance, and adherence to documented work practices.
- Write and modify Work Instructions for existing products as the process matures.
- Troubleshoot process equipment and coordinate Management of Change with Maintenance and Production.
- Execute the equipment and instrumentation calibration program.
- Defend periodic statistical reports to internal customers.

- Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 3 years in a process engineering role in chemical manufacturing or specialty materials
- Strong SPC fluency, Minitab or equivalent statistical software
- Six Sigma Green Belt training or equivalent continuous improvement exposure
- Comfort owning corrective action end-to-end, not just flagging issues

- Experience in a regulated, audited manufacturing environment (GMP or equivalent)
- Familiarity with specialty chemical batch processes
