Summary
The Production Coordinator supports project planning and execution by working with internal teams and external customers. The role includes entering new work into Smartsheet and the ERP system, preparing detailed work requests, and managing material quoting and purchasing. It also involves developing expertise in the ERP, conducting time studies, and assisting with production planning, safety, quality, and cost‑control efforts. Additionally, the position oversees staffing for PAVE manufacturing employees and coordinates union subcontracted labor
Responsibilities
- Develop into an ERP subject‑matter expert, focusing on production, timekeeping, and quoting processes.
- Perform time studies and build a quoting system that ensures accurate, profitable, and ERP‑ready quotations.
- Coordinate project schedules and delivery expectations with internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Support quoting, purchasing, and quality initiatives while promoting continuous improvement and customer‑focused manufacturing.
- Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams on custom electrical enclosure and metal‑fabrication solutions, including CAD support.
- Participate in facility evaluation, equipment upgrades, maintenance planning, and uphold strong safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in electrical construction, fabrication, prefabrication, production coordination, or similar project environments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving skills for addressing production, fabrication, and assembly challenges.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to consistent, quality workmanship.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with openness to learning new processes.
- Knowledge of safety standards and safe work practices in construction or manufacturing, with preferred experience in CAD, fabrication processes, ERP systems, estimating, or project support.
