Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our growing team in a hybrid capacity based in Baltimore, MD, with 2-3 days in office per week. This role is ideal for someone with a strong public accounting foundation who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a high-growth organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
- Help improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance financial operations and provide insights for decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–4 years of general ledger accounting experience (public accounting preferred)
- Experience with NetSuite ERP
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or medical aesthetics industry experience
- CPA or progress toward CPA
