POSITION SUMMARYStudio Sales Manager (Revenue & Growth)
The Studio Sales Manager is directly responsible for driving studio revenue, optimizing sales performance, and leading the front-line sales team. This role owns all sales KPIs, including memberships, packages, average ticket value, conversion rates, and client retention. The Sales Manager acts as both a player and a coach—selling alongside the team while developing high-performing Studio Associates through training, accountability, and data-driven performance management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales Leadership & Revenue Ownership- Own and consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets for the studio.
- Lead by example through active, hands-on selling, including consultations, package sales, and membership conversions.
- Establish daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team and ensure accountability.
- Drive growth in:
- Membership enrollments
- Multi-session package sales
- Retail and add-on revenue
- Client lifetime value and retention
- Monitor sales pipeline, first-visit conversions, and reactivation of inactive clients.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators, including but not limited to:
- New memberships sold per week/month
- First-visit conversion rate
- Average ticket value (ATV)
- Revenue per client
- Client retention and utilization rates
- Lead-to-appointment and appointment-to-sale conversion
- Use POS and CRM data to identify trends, gaps, and coaching opportunities.
- Implement corrective action plans when KPIs fall below targets.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach Studio Associates on consultative selling techniques and Pause’s wellness philosophy.
- Conduct regular sales training, role-playing, and performance reviews.
- Motivate the team through clear expectations, incentives, and recognition programs.
- Ensure all team members are confident presenting pricing, memberships, and packages.
- Ensure a premium, concierge-level experience while maintaining a strong sales culture.
- Handle escalated client concerns with a solutions-oriented approach that protects revenue and retention.
- Maintain studio presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence consistent with brand standards.
- Lead studio outreach efforts, partnerships, and grassroots initiatives to generate qualified leads.
- Oversee sales performance at in-studio activations and external events.
- Build relationships with local businesses, fitness studios, and corporate partners.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 2–4 years of sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in wellness, fitness, hospitality, luxury retail, or subscription-based sales strongly preferred.
- Strong sales leadership and coaching capability.
- Metrics-driven with high financial and operational acumen.
- Confident in presenting pricing, handling objections, and closing.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
