Pause Studio is a modern recovery brand built to restore the human condition. Pause offers a wide array of science-backed wellness services such as flotation therapy, infrared sauna therapy, cold plunge, cryotherapy, LED light therapy, compression therapy, and IV vitamin infusion (drip) therapy – all designed to optimize rest and recovery, reduce stress, increase immunity, and promote self-care.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Our Studio Associates are the resident experts and the key to our client experience as they play a pivotal role in sales, customer service and maintenance of the studio aesthetic. We want biohackers who love, see, experience and understand the benefits of our science-backed offerings, and are looking for a place to feel joy and pride as a result of helping people elevate their way of living. This Studio Associate job is an hourly position and is a great opportunity to learn a new industry, help launch new studios and become part of a rapidly emerging wellness brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and execute strong communication skills and a professional presence to colleagues and clients.
  • Ensure the studio is consistently clean and presentable, including maintaining the reception area, restrooms, and all other spaces to uphold high cleanliness standards.
  • Actively promote Pause services and packages by engaging with customers, tailoring recommendations to their needs, and applying the Pause wellness philosophy, while driving sales and upselling to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Assist with studio outreach initiatives and events.
  • Assist in the management of our point of sale/appointment software.
  • Assist with social media content creation by capturing high-quality photos for various platforms.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with clients effectively, answer questions, and promote services clearly and confidently.
  • Sales-Driven Mindset: Enthusiasm for meeting sales goals by recommending and upselling services/products based on customer needs.
  • Customer Service Focus: A genuine desire to provide a positive experience for every client, maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure the studio maintains a high standard of cleanliness and aesthetic by thoroughly inspecting and maintaining the reception area and service rooms before and after each use, keeping the entire space orderly and presentable.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well with other team members to create a supportive and efficient environment.
  • Basic Technical Skills: Comfortable using scheduling systems and managing social media content as needed.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required (rotation-based).

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a wellness, fitness, or retail environment.
  • Sales Experience: Proven ability to meet sales goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience through personalized service and upselling.
  • Experience in a Wellness or Spa Setting: Experience or familiarity with wellness services, such as saunas, cold therapy, or massage, is a plus.
  • Social Media Management: Experience with social media content creation and engagement is beneficial for promoting the studio’s offerings.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with scheduling software, point-of-sale systems, and basic social media content management.
