Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team across a variety of practice areas. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.
Duties
- Assist attorneys with case management by organizing and maintaining legal files.
- Coordinate meetings and client communications with professional phone etiquette.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Perform administrative office functions such as restocking and organizing supplies as appropriate.
- Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to firm policies.
Skills
- Experience with legal case management systems such as Clio is preferred.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Clerical experience including data entry, filing systems management, and administrative support functions.
- Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional communication skills.
- Experience supporting attorneys in litigation processes or project management is a plus.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
