Responsibilities
- Operate food preparation equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools
- Clean, sanitize, and organize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with basic meal preparation tasks such as slicing ingredients using proper knife techniques and handling food with care
- Support food production by maintaining cleanliness of workstations and ensuring all surfaces are hygienic for food handling and cooking
- Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots, trays, or boxes of supplies while following proper safety procedures
- Follow safety standards in production areas to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
